    NEET 2019

     

    National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once in a year.NEET exam is the only national-level medical entrance exam. NEET is conducted for providing admissions in MBBS, BDS & AYUSH courses offered by all the Indian Medical Colleges. NEET 2019 exam will be conducted through paper and pen (Offline) mode.

    1. When will be the application form released?

    NEET application will be released from 1st November 2018

     

    2. Who can appear in the examination?

    Indian Nationals, NRIs, and Foreign Nationals candidates are eligible to appear.

     

    3.  I am appearing in 10+2 examinations. Am I eligible to apply?

    Yes, candidates who are appearing qualifying exam are also eligible.

     

    4. How NRI candidates can apply without the Aadhar card?

    No need to fill the application through the details of Aadhar card. You can select any other valid ID proof.

     

    5. When will be the examination conducted?

    NEET exam will be conducted on 5th May 2019 by NTA.

     

    6. Are NEOs or Private students eligible to apply?

    No, NEOs cannot apply for NEET exam

     

    7. What are the minimum marks criteria to appear for NEET 2019?

    In the qualifying exam, candidates will have to obtain at least 50% marks for general/OBC, 45% marks for PH and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

     

    8. Is there any negative marking in the examination?

    Yes, one mark deduction for every one wrong answer.

     

    9. What is the number of attempts?

    There is no attempt limit.

     

    NEET counseling 2019

    • The counseling process will be through online mode.
    • State level counseling will be organized by the respective state counseling authorities.
    • NEET 2019 counseling will start  from the second week of June 2019
    • First of all, candidates have to register for counseling and fill their preferences for admission.
    • Seats will be allotted to as per student’s merit, category and availability of seats in colleges
    • After a  seat is allotted, candidates have to report to the allotted college within the notified schedule.
