The major causes of stress in the students of all age groups are exams fear and anxiety. Some students are capable of handling exams fear and stress in their own way. Some fall into depression and perform badly in exams When the stress is stopping you from performing to the best of your ability, then you need to start figuring out ways to deal with it.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in May 2019. Getting a good score in NEET is crucial to secure admission into a top ranking medical school. However, there are some students who have already started their preparation, and there are few who are getting stressed about their plan for NEET 2019.

Edignite offer expert tips to overcome the hurdles that aspirants would be facing while appearing for NEET 2019 exam.

Tips to overcome NEET exam stress

The following tips help you crack the NEET exam 2019 with ease.

    1. Visualize success

The first step to gain success is to believe in yourself. Unfortunately, in this competitive world, the students are not able to focus on their strengths and so their minds are filled with negativity and cause stress. Just imagine yourself writing exams and knowing the answers. When you visualize as being successful, you are more likely to succeed.

    2. Practice mock papers more

Practice makes a man perfect. Practice is essential to tune you for the upcoming NEET exam 2019. So, make it a habit of practicing previous years’ papers to get acquainted with the exam pattern and questions type. Don’t waste the time by getting stuck on a single question. Practice previous questions and make topic wise and chapter wise analysis to stay motivated and clear NEET 2019.

    3. Keep points at fingertips

During revision, it is advisable to go through the hand-made notes which you must have prepared while preparing for NEET exam 2019. Go through the key points, important definitions, tables, formulae, and charts before practicing mock test papers. Make all the concepts, facts and important formulae in easy and tabular forms which give a concise review to ensure full revision before the exam.

    4. Keep calm and Stay positive

A stressed mind is not going to help you perform better and it makes it worse for your NEET exam preparation. Keep yourself always positive and have faith in yourself. Make an environment with like-minded people, with the same aspiration and conviction for the goal. Talk to your friends and teachers for the queries and easy tips to grasp the difficult topics. Stay positive and start having positive results.

    5. Avoid late night sleep

All have their own preferred time when the concentration is at its peak. It is very common among the students to think that staying up all night before the exam will help to do better. But that’s not the truth. Studies have proved that you are able to remember what you have studied and perform well in the examinations only if you have 6-7 hours sleep. Good sleep will help you to appear for the exam in a calm mood and to get rid of NEET exam stress.

    6. Stay Healthy

Not only dedication and commitment but also it is important to keep yourself healthy, especially while preparing for any competitive exams like NEET, JEE, etc. A good diet which includes iron, vitamins, and minerals help the brain to function well and relieve the stress. The healthier you are, the more effort you can put into the hard work. Take time, eat healthily and improve your performance in the exams.

    7. Stop Comparison

There is nothing good in comparing yourself to your friends. The comparison may impact your confidence which is not good during exam preparation. Focus only on your preparation and plans. The results will always be the best of your efforts. And if not, be prepared to give it your best again and again.

Think wisely and act smart! Hope Edignite’s suggestions and tips will help you to achieve the goal. All the best!!
