For most medical aspirants like NEET, physics is usually one of the most challenging subjects. This is because NEET Physics preparation requires the most effort and comprises a variety of theoretical concepts and an array of numerical problems associated with each concept.

To get a better score and admission in MBBS and BDS courses in top medical colleges in India, aspirants must score excellently in NEET Physics 2022. Therefore, they must equally focus on the overall syllabus during the NEET preparation.

While preparing physics for NEET requires a thorough understanding of every minor concept to apply to the numerical questions. With this view, Edignite, in this article, explains a few strategies to NEET aspirants on how to prepare for NEET 2022 physics.

    1. Go through previous papers

Do your best to remember what you have studied from your class 11 and class 12. In addition, it is important to go through previous NEET papers to get an idea of the type of questions asked in the exam. This will help you get more familiar with the paper pattern and improve your knowledge of various topics.

    2. Practice mock tests

There are several ways by which one can prepare for their NEET exams, some people prefer going through questions from previous years while others prefer going through online mock tests or practicing with online tests etc. However, one of the most popular ways is to go through past questions and then solve them yourself with proper analysis.

    3. Emphasize the critical topics for NEET physics

Preparation of NEET physics requires applicants to learn about the topics that carry more weight than others based on the analysis of the previous year’s NEET question papers. This strategy can be very effective for NEET aspirants wondering how to prepare for NEET Physics 2022.

    4. Exercise your memory

Out of all the questions in the NEET physics section, there are many factual or memory-based. So, read your NEET textbooks thoroughly and try to recall all important topics. Getting these questions correct not only gives you confidence but also helps you score higher marks in very little time.

    5. Create a list of formulae

Many questions in NEET are direct applications of standard formulas. So, the time constraint won’t allow you to derive those formulas during the exam. Hence, it becomes very crucial that all the standard procedures are on the tip of your tongue. A simple way of memorizing formulas is to make a formula chart on your study table so that it remains in your mind.

    6. Narrow down the answers

Not all physics questions require exact solving for answers. For example, some numerical questions have options far off, so you can take significant approximations to ease the calculation. Sometimes, dimensional analysis can eliminate options, and graph-based questions are easily solved by substituting extreme case values.

    7. Analyse your results

Practicing tests is of no importance if you do not analyze the results later. After every test, make sure you perform a thorough analysis of the paper. More importantly, identify the questions which you could not solve and the questions you got wrong. Make sure to identify the mistakes for each topic and avoid them in upcoming tests.

To ensure your NEET 2022 preparation in the best possible way, you must be competent with a wide range of numerical problems. Furthermore, understanding the theoretical concepts of physics is also vital.

This way, you can create a great approach and prepare well for your NEET physics exam. Edignite wishes you good luck!
