Preparing for IIT JEE 2020 but feeling demotivated? Don’t worry. Edignite is here to help you to stay strong and motivated to achieve your IIT dream.

Being one of the toughest examinations, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) preparation requires a lot of hard work and determination. With each passing year, numerous students are signing up to appear for JEE that makes it difficult to step into the IITs. There will also be times when you feel low and have negative thoughts of not clearing the JEE exam because of the vast syllabus and stiff competition.

However, just completing the JEE 2020 syllabus is not enough but the right sheer of motivation is required to start your JEE preparation. Let’s take a look at some of the best ways that help you stay motivated during the JEE Mains 2020 preparation.

    1. Positive self-affirmation

Whenever you get stuck trying to solve the problem, you tend to feel demotivated and even feel like dropping the subject. Remind yourself that all the other students who appeared for the JEE exam 2020 are going through the same struggle and you can’t quit. Instead, identify the real problem that is stopping you from moving forward and find a way to make the most of your time and effort.

    2. Positive surroundings

A positive mindset is crucial while preparing for competitive exams. It will not only spike your confidence level but also help you develop faith in your hard work. Just believe in yourself and have a positive outlook towards your JEE preparation and exam. Therefore, choose positive surroundings to stay strong-willed and motivated during the JEE exam preparation.

    3. Learn from other’s mistakes

Learn from the mistakes of others. You can not live long enough to commit them all yourself says, Eleanor Roosevelt. Other’s mistakes are always your opportunities to learn from and achieve success both in exams and career. So, keep a close watch at the mistakes of others as they have hidden opportunities for you to learn from and keep an edge over others.

    4. Reward yourself

Prepare a goal chart and try to accomplish a goal every day. It could be that finishing a certain topic or maybe solving a set of difficult problems that day. Reward yourself with little treats each day after you have finished achieving your goal. This will not only help you stay motivated but will also make your JEE 2020  exam preparation fun and interesting.

    5. Get into the habit of studying

Stay away from all your distractions by switching off your mobile phones or pcs and work on your learning. You have to be deeply immersed in your JEE exam preparation. To stay focused and motivated for long periods of time, you should know when to study and when to take breaks. Edignite suggests to practice the habit of studying that can enhance your motivation.

    5. Know the purpose of revision

Revision and thorough practice are important aspects when you are trying to crack the JEE exam and get a good score. Since the syllabus is huge, it is very difficult for you to remember everything from the JEE syllabus. Therefore, revision is as important as understanding the concepts of various chapters.

Follow these tips and stay focused and motivated in the long run. Your efforts will lead you to the success you have been dreaming for years.

    Edignite wishes you good luck!
